Induction Ceremony-25th August 2012


Induction Ceremony of the UN Club 'SANYUKT ' was held on 25th August 2012

The ceremony was held in the conference room of KHMS in the presence of our Principal Mam and Headmistress-Ms. Kaul, Ms. Kumar and Ms. Arya.
About the club....
 After lighting the Lamp of Knowledge our students gave a floral welcome to our Principal mam & Headmistress.
A brief introduction was given about the club and its activities that- .it celebrates  the international days declared by the UN and  prepare Bulletin boards, celebrate UN Day and hold various competitions in the school.This will not only create awareness but will also prepare  member students to become global citizens.

Members of the club were given the UN updates via power point presentation by the Preksha (Secretary)principles of UN. 







Members of the club  also presented a small skit on the theme “Wada Na Todo Diwas”which depicted various developmental goals like poverty, gender equality, protection of environment etc.It was part of the "United Nations Millennium Campaign ".

Members also took Pledge to abide by the UN principles.

New Council was introduced and our Principal and Headmistresses decorated the new Council with Badges. 
At the end our Headmistress Ms. Kaul encouraged our members with her motivational and inspirational address.



Students were very happy and were glowing and smiling with the Pins on their collar.

A visit to the UN Office- Lodhi Estate


4th September 2012   -  A visit to the UN office

A group of 24 students accompanied by teacher coordinators Ms. SeemaLal& Ms. Anita Bajarh visited the UN office. There students were shown video’s on the formation& the functioning of the UN. Rineeta Naik (Assisstant Information Officer) & 
Dr. R.K.Sharma(Librarian) were there to talk & guide our Sanyukt club members.  Members were told about Documentation of the UN records .It was an interactive session, members students asked various questions and cleared their doubts. Students we also given UN  related literature . It was an informative and enlightening visit.
They also appreciated the fact that Kulachi Hansraj model school is running a UN club &that the club is online. Some glimpse.....

ANTI CRACKERS MOVEMENT

The members of sanyukt club took an intiative to create awareness about a pollution free diwali. For which they organised a rally and made banners.They visited slum areas near the school to create awareness about anti crackers movement which can save the environment and make it absoultely pollution free.They also marched to different classes of their school in groups to aware the students and to make the school,city and the country pollution free. After all charity begins at home and making the world better place to live in.

Anti crackers Rally-Save Environment



On 20th October 2011 students of 'Sanyukt Club' conducted a RALLY with in the school to make students aware of the pollution the crackers create and the harm it does to the environment.




Students made banners and raised slogans , went to the class rooms and tried to sensitise the fellow students about the cause.




Members of our club also went to the surrounding areas (slums near the school) and created awarenss about pollution that is caused by the crackers.

INDUCTION CEREMONY- 2nd August 2011


Induction Ceremony of the UN Club- known as 'SANYUKT CLUB' was held on 21st July 2011. The ceremony was held in the conference room of KHMS in the presence of our Headmistress-Ms. Kaul., Ms. Kumar and Ms. Arya.
After lighting the Lamp of Knowledge our students gave a floral welcome to our Headmisstress.
A brief introduction was given about the club and its activities..it will celebrate all the international days declared by the UN and this will be done by preparing Buuletin boards, celebrating UN Day and holding various competitions in the school.This will not only create awareness but will also prepare them to become global citizens.
--Members of the club presented a small skit which depicted various social issues as corruption, terrorism international order ...


Members also took Pledge to abide by the principles of UN.



--After which our Headmistresses decorated the new Council with Badges.
--there was a address of the newly elect -GENERAL SECRETARY-Meher Suri.
--There was also a Powerpoint presentation by Abdul Saurabh Khan who gave UN Updates.
At the end our Headmistresses encouraged our members with their motivational and inspirational addresses.
Students were very happy and were glowing and smiling with the Pins on their collar.
